Let’s Just Start With Nature…

Hey there,
Ever paused and thought—what does a plant really teach us?
Well, this blog is kinda about that. Not sciencey, not preachy—just a gentle nudge to remind you (and me) that we’re not separate from nature, we are nature. But in our mad rush for growth, goals, gadgets, and industries, we’ve somewhere dropped the connection. Especially with the way plants grow—with roots and shoots doing their beautiful dance.

So imagine this: the roots are quietly working underground, soaking up water, holding things steady. And above, the shoots are basking in the sun, reaching higher, greener, louder. Roots are the silent strength, and shoots are the visible success.
Now, don’t you think that’s exactly how we grow too?

🌿 Covey’s Wisdom Fits Right In

Now, here’s where Stephen Covey (yeah, the 7 Habits guy) comes in with a gem of a thought.
He says—everything’s created twice:
👉 Once in your mind (that’s your root)
👉 Then in the real world (that’s your shoot)

Pretty cool, right?

You first dream it, visualize it, build it silently inside you—and then you go out and make it happen. If the inside job isn’t done, the outside won’t last. Like trying to grow a mango tree from a fake seed.

🧠 Mental Creation = Your Roots

Let’s dig deeper.
Your thoughts, plans, intentions—that’s your root zone. It’s invisible but vital.
That’s where your values grow. That’s where your “why” lives.
And if those roots aren’t strong, well, no matter how much you hustle, your results may wobble.

Think of it this way:
You can’t build a skyscraper on sand, right?
Same with your goals. First, ground yourself. Build those roots.

🌼 Physical Creation = Your Shoots

Now, once the roots are in place, the magic moves up.
You start seeing action. Doing stuff. Getting results.
But here’s a catch—you can’t fake it. Your shoots can only rise as much as your roots allow.

That’s why some people burn out even after putting in loads of effort—they skipped the root work.
Success without soul? Doesn’t stick.

🌻 So, What Can You Do With This?

Let’s make it real.
Here’s how you can actually apply the Root-Shoot model to your daily life:

🔹 Start with a clear picture:
Before jumping into anything—stop. Ask: What am I really trying to grow? This is where the root starts forming.

🔹 Dig into your values:
What truly matters to you? Is it honesty, growth, freedom?
These become your root nutrients.

🔹 Act in sync with your inner world:
Don’t just do things because others are. Match your actions with your values.
That’s how you water your own plant.

🔹 Be patient—plants don’t pop overnight:
Give yourself time. Roots take time. Shoots follow.
Trust your process. Keep nurturing.

🌳 Closing Thoughts: Grow Like Nature Does

So here’s the wrap-up, my friend:
Grow like nature does.
Slowly, steadily, and deeply.
First, settle your roots—your purpose, your beliefs, your plans.
Then rise with your shoots—your actions, your results, your life story.

Stephen Covey said it well, but nature’s been whispering it forever.

You just need to listen.

And once you get this balance right, no storm can shake you.
Because you won’t just be surviving. You’ll be thriving.                My wishes..
